Fan Zone District ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at fanzonedistrict.com and the Fan Zone District mobile app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. This information is stored securely via Firebase Authentication (Google).

Event Submissions

When you submit an event through the Service, we collect the event details you provide, including title, description, date, location, and your Congressional District. Submitted events may be published publicly on the platform.

Passport & Check-In Data

If you use the Digital Passport feature, we record check-in stamps linked to your account, including the business visited, timestamp, and your district. This data is used to display your passport progress and leaderboard ranking.

Marketing Preferences

If you opt in during signup, we store your name, email, and district in our subscriber list for the purpose of sending updates about Fan Zone District events and announcements. This is always optional and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Usage Data

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized data about how visitors use the Service, including pages visited, time spent, and general location (city/country level). No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Event submissions and passport stamps are retained for as long as they are relevant to the platform. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.
